Common Malfunctions of Waterproofing Sprayers and Their Causes

1. Waterproofing sprayer It suddenly shut down automatically during operation. Possible reasons are:

1. Construction A sudden power outage occurred on site. If power cannot be restored promptly, the equipment must be de-energized, and the delivery hose, pump head, and all accessories must be removed and cleaned. When dismantling the delivery hose, the disassembly point must be covered with a protective bag or other suitable material to prevent the sudden release of pressure from the hose and the risk of mortar spray during removal.

  2. Motor overload. Check whether the fuse has blown.

II. If the slurry is too dry or the machine has been shut down for an extended period without cleaning, it may result in… Waterproofing sprayer Clogging failure.   When this occurs, the blocked site must be cleared. Please turn off the power first, and do not remove the spray gun or delivery hose immediately. Otherwise, the dismantling site will release substantial internal pipe pressure, and mortar spray could pose a safety hazard.

  1. Reverse the power supply.

  2. Press the button to turn on the machine, then invert it upside down for approximately 30 seconds, to reduce the pressure in the delivery line.

  3. Remove the spray gun and clean it. Check the nozzle for blockages.

  4. Turn the power switch to the forward position and turn it on.

  5. If no material is being delivered through the delivery hose, it indicates that the line is blocked. Reconnect a clean spray gun and resume spraying; alternatively, you can repeatedly open and invert the gun. If material still fails to discharge, remove the delivery hose for cleaning and unclogging, then detach the delivery hose—ensure it is inverted before resuming operation.

  6. Connect the unobstructed delivery pipe, then adjust the knob to rotate it forward, and resume operation.

III. Waterproofing sprayer It rotates normally, but is the pulping speed very slow? Possible reasons are:

  1. The pump impeller has been worn for an extended period. To verify whether the impeller is worn, connect a pressure gauge between the impeller outlet and the delivery hose. If the pressure gauge indicates very low pressure or no pressure at all, it can be concluded that the impeller is worn and should be replaced with a new pump component.

  2. Waterproofing sprayer The rotating component in the funnel is drawn into a void. This occurs because the slurry is too dry or the dry powder flow is unfavorable for mechanical operation. Under such conditions, the pump impeller can dry out due to insufficient material, leading to excessive heat and eventual burnout.
