The 29th China International Hardware Fair is scheduled to take place from March 30 to April 1, 2016, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai Hongqiao New Venue). The 27th edition of the fair, successfully held from March 31 to April 2, 2015, demonstrated its robust vitality and strong industry cohesion, with both scale and quality reaching record highs. The exhibition spanned 160,000 square meters, featured 8,000 booths, and attracted more than 3,000 domestic and international exhibitors. Over 90,000 professional visitors from China and abroad attended, bringing together leading brands and enterprises from the global hardware sector. Concurrent forum events and the debut of dedicated zones for lifting equipment, rigging, and logistics racking earned widespread acclaim from exhibitors and attendees, further confirming that the China International Hardware Fair remains the industry’s most popular trade show.
2016 marked the year of full implementation of China’s 12th Five-Year Plan. Amid numerous external uncertainties, how can China’s economy continue to sustain relatively rapid growth? Boosting domestic demand is undoubtedly a shortcut. China’s 12th Five-Year Plan explicitly calls for “enhancing the core competitiveness of the manufacturing sector and strengthening capabilities in new product development and brand building,” thereby charting a clear course for China’s hardware industry.
