As for putty spray machines, I suspect many people are unfamiliar with this equipment. However, that’s understandable—putty spray machines are quite specialized in their applications, so it’s no surprise most folks haven’t encountered them. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at the practical benefits of putty spray machines!
About Putty sprayer I suppose many people may not be familiar with this equipment. But I believe that’s the case. Putty sprayers are quite specialized in their applications, so most people don’t come into contact with them—no wonder they’re little known. Now, let’s take a closer look at the practicality of putty sprayers!

Advantages of Putty Spraying Machines
1. The coating quality is excellent, with a smooth, fine finish free of brush marks. This method pressurizes the paint and atomizes it into fine particles, evenly distributing them across the wall surface. As a result, the latex paint forms a smooth, even, and tightly packed film, without any brush or roller marks—something that traditional brushing or rolling simply cannot achieve.
2. High coating efficiency: A single operator can achieve a spraying rate of 200–500 square meters per hour, which is 10–15 times faster than manual brushing.
3. Excellent adhesion and long coating life. High-pressure spraying imparts substantial kinetic energy to the atomized paint particles, enabling them to penetrate even the smallest voids. This enhances the density of the coating film, strengthens the mechanical interlocking between the film and the substrate, improves adhesion, and effectively extends the service life of the coating.
4. The coating film exhibits uniform thickness, resulting in high paint utilization. Manual roller application produces highly uneven film thicknesses, typically ranging from 30 to 250 microns, whereas airless spraying—known for its low paint utilization—can readily achieve a 30-micron‑thick coating.
5. Easily reaches corners and crevices. Thanks to high-pressure airless spraying, the coating is applied without entrapping air, allowing it to penetrate hard-to-reach areas such as edges, gaps, and uneven surfaces. This makes it particularly well-suited for office building ceilings with numerous HVAC and fire‑suppression piping runs—tasks that are difficult to accomplish with a roller.
6. High-viscosity coatings can be applied, but hand brushes and spray equipment are suitable only for low-viscosity paints. With economic development and changing consumer attitudes, replacing mosaic and ceramic tile wall coverings with mid- to high‑grade interior and exterior paints has become a popular trend in China. Waterborne latex paint, owing to its non‑toxicity, easy cleanability, rich color palette, and environmental friendliness, has increasingly emerged as a favored material for both interior and exterior wall decoration. However, latex paint is a highly viscous water‑based coating. During application, manufacturers typically impose strict limits on dilution with water—generally between 10% and 30%—except for certain specially formulated products that permit small amounts of water without compromising performance. Excessive dilution can lead to poor film formation, adversely affecting the paint’s texture, scrub resistance, and durability. The extent of this degradation is directly proportional to the degree of dilution: the greater the dilution, the poorer the resulting coating quality. To ensure proper application, it is essential to adhere strictly to the manufacturer’s recommended dilution ratios. Given its high viscosity and challenging application requirements, a common practice abroad is to apply latex paint using a putty‑spraying machine.
Putty sprayer There are many different names for this equipment. In modern industry, high-pressure airless spraying is widely used in the coatings sector, bringing countless conveniences to users. A motor‑driven or air‑hydraulic pump pressurizes the coating to a specified level, and a specialized airless sprayer then atomizes it. The spray velocity is extremely high; the rapid, instantaneous discharge causes the coating to form a fan‑shaped mist, which deposits a uniform coating on exterior surfaces and platforms. Because the sprayed mist contains no entrained air, this process is referred to as airless spraying.
One of the key advantages of a putty sprayer is its rapid application speed. While manual wall painting can be time‑consuming, using a putty spray gun takes only a few minutes. We believe this level of efficiency is unmatched by any manual method. Manual spraying often results in uneven paint distribution due to inconsistent human effort, but with a putty sprayer, there’s no need to worry about this issue. The sprayer’s nozzle delivers pressurized air, allowing precise control over spray force and ensuring uniform paint output—guaranteeing consistent, high‑quality results.
