The polyurethane spraying machine is a key piece of equipment in aerated concrete production, used to mix the raw materials uniformly, ensure thorough reaction, and promptly inject the resulting slurry into the molds. To maintain the product’s performance and ensure proper operation, routine cleaning and maintenance are essential. Here are several key points regarding the correct use of the equipment and effective cleaning techniques.

      Polyurethane spray machine Both low-pressure and high-pressure machines are used for two-component polyurethane systems. The high-pressure machine relies on high pressure to atomize the two components, which are then mixed at high pressure in the mixing chamber; therefore, it does not require cleaning after use. In contrast, the low-pressure machine uses an electric motor to drive a high-speed agitator for mixing, so it must be cleaned with MC or another suitable solvent after each operation.

After completing the spraying task, first depressurize the system and allow any remaining coating in the equipment to drain through the return line to prevent degradation or crystallization of the material. For compact, user‑friendly foam machines, during periods of inactivity, perform a 30‑minute high‑low pressure cycle every 1–2 days. Verify that the circulating cleaning fluid in the polyurethane spray machine’s proportioning cylinder is flowing properly and check for cloudiness or crystallization; replace the fluid promptly if any issues are detected. For equipment left idle for extended periods, flush out the materials with DOP or an equivalent solvent.
